Learning probability and statistics
Probability is the measure of likeliness of an event or something happening. An experiment is a situation involving a chance that leads to results called outcomes. An event is one or more outcomes of an experiment. For example, when a die is thrown, there are six outcomes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Therefore the probability of any of them is 1/6. Like in the case of a dice being tossed the probability of a specific number turning up is based on the concepts that are taught in probability statistics. Learners at the lower grade levels can get the gist of this topic and get to learn it more as the progress to higher grades and solve more probability problems.
